What is the Red Feather Community Chest and the Year-End Mutual Aid Fund?

Red Feather Community Chest

 The funds are distributed through the Gunma Prefectural Central Community Chest and help local non-profit organizations, social welfare groups, child welfare institutions, etc., to improve the local community.

【Year-End Mutual Aid Fund】

The funds support charitable activities around the year-end season to help those in need to have a comfortable new year.

How We Raise

Year-End Mutual Aid Fund

Through the Regional Groups and Neighborhood Councils: \300 per household

(In accordance with the situation of the local community, those funds are raised 250-yen per household for the Red Feather Community Chest and 50-yen for the Year-End Mutual Aid Fund.)

At the service counter of the Ota City Social Welfare Conference

(Accepted at the headquarter as well as the Western Branch.)

Red Feather Community Chest Fundraising on the street, at events, in schools, and in workplaces.
Year-End Mutual Aid Fund Corporate and event donations.

◎Year-End Visits and Exchanges Project

Subsidies for charitable activities such as distributing New Year’s meals and other activities to assist elderly people living alone, carried out by local Social Welfare Councils.
